Great Ideas of Bauhaus
As part of the Bauhaus centennial in Aspen I was able to propose and co-curate a show of local printmakers for the Red Brick Center for the Arts. The show concept was derived from the the advertising campaign of the Walter Paepcke’s Container Corporation. Their Great Ideas of Western Man campaign brought modern artist into the commercial arts to create advertisements based on literature from the ages that represented core philosophical ideas. In addition to the curation of the show I was able to develop the graphics, which included some screen printed posters to capture the show concepts.
